The composition of the tree trunk and the forceful way it exerts itself brings to mind Van Gogh’s masterpiece 『The Sower』.The bare branches take up three quarters of the picture, its arms extending outwards as if attempting to reach out and capture the last evening rays reflected upon the lake. It also seems like its reminiscing the past. Every plant and tree has a story, if only more people could listen to them attentively.
